97.3 Coast FM is Mandurah’s commercial hit music station, launched by West Coast Radio in September 1996 to give the Peel region a local FM voice. Its contemporary hit format reaches Mandurah, the Peel and into Perth and Bunbury, with local announcers, news and community involvement at its core. The station celebrated 30 years on air in 2026 and remains independently owned, with sister station 91.7 The Wave.
