Launched on 5 November 2025 — exactly 36 years after its parent station first went on air — Sunrise Hits is the Sunrise Radio Group's second national Asian commercial station, carried across the UK on DAB. Billed as the country's smoothest Asian hits station, it plays contemporary and easy-listening Asian music, a mellower blend of current Bollywood favourites and modern Asian pop than the main Sunrise Radio service, which has served British Asian listeners since 1989.
