Classic Hits 109, the Soft Rock stream, keeps its promise in the name: a continuous run of soft rock and mellow classic hits, heavy on the seventies and eighties. Acoustic guitars, piano ballads and smooth harmonies set the pace, with none of the harder edges of album rock. It is an easy, workplace-friendly background station for listeners who want familiar voices and gentle songs rather than surprises, presented without DJs or interruptions.
