100.9 NRG is the Palm Springs area's self-styled Desert's Dance Station, broadcasting at 100.9 FM from Cathedral City, California. Its slogan tells the format story — 'Disco in the Morning and Dance all Day' — and the playlist delivers it: classic disco, nu-disco edits and funky house in the morning, rolling into current dance-pop from the likes of Dua Lipa. In a resort city built on sunshine and nightlife, it keeps the tempo up around the clock.
